POINT OF CONTACT: Ask the class how much work could a carpenter get done if he didn't have any tools. Same is true with soul winners! Things you will need:

I. GOSPEL TRACKS
     A) Preferably with the church's name, address, phone number, pastor... printed on them.
     B) Containing a clear presentation of the gospel.
       1. Some people will take a track but will not allow you to witness to them.
     C) New and clean - none that are dirty, old, wrinkled... will get thrown away.

II. NEW TESTAMENT
     A) King James - Rom. 10:17.
     B) A New Testament can be carried in your pocket...
     C) Marking (underlining) your New Testament:
       1. The Plan of Salvation:
         a) Romans 3:10 - first verse you will turn to; use Bible marker, paper clip...
         b) Romans 3:23.
         c) Romans 6:23a - underline only these words: "For the wages of sin is death."
         d) Revelation 20:14,15.
         e) Revelation 21:8 - this is the next verse, but do not underline or mark it!
         f) Romans 5:8.
         g) Romans 6:23b - this portion of the verse should not be underlined or marked!
         h) Romans 10:13.
       2. Assurance Verses:
         a) John 10:28.
         b) Romans 8:35a, 37-39.
       3. Baptism Verses:
         a) Commanded - Acts 10:48; Mt. 28:19,20; John 14:15,21.
         b) After Salvation - Mk. 16:15,16; Acts 8:35-38; 18:8.
         c) By Immersion - Acts 8:38,39; Mt. 3:16; Rom. 6:4.
         d) Immediately - Acts 2:41; 16:29-33.

III. SOME 3 x 5 CARDS
     A) Write down and keep records of where you visited and names of who you spoke to.
       1. So you can pick them up for church, make follow up visits...
     B) Leave a note and your phone number when you miss your contact.

IV. AN INK PEN
     A) Write and keep records - transfer into a notebook... later.
     B) Write illustrations while witnessing.
     C) Write down names of people you lead to the Lord and pray for them.
