POINT OF CONTACT: Ask them a few questions concerning Noah and about the ark he built. Today's lesson is found in Gen. 6:1-22.

I. NOAH FOUND GRACE 6:8
     A. You will find what your looking for.
     B. You will become what you want to become.

II. IN GOD'S EYES
     A. It's easy to look good in the eyes of man.
     B. To look good in God's eyes requires a consistent life!
     C. Pr. 15:3, II Ch. 16:9, Jer. 16:17, Heb. 4:13.

III. JUST 6:9
     A. Just - fair, right, equal treatment for equal behavior.
     B. When you get demerits, you get what you've earned, deserve.
     C. Same with report cards.
     D. Noah was fair giving praise when praise is due...

IV. PERFECT
     A. No one could rightly accuse Noah of wrong doing.
     B. There were no appearances of wrong - I Thes. 5:22.
     C. "The Tip of the Ice Berg" When someone sees you doing something a little shady, they know there's more to be seen! If you will do "that" in front of me, what will you do behind my back?

V. HE WALKED WITH GOD
     A. Reading and studying the Bible.
     B. Prayer.
     C. Church.
     D. There was evidence! It will show up in your attitude, actions... Some have little evidence that they walk with God, others have none. You cannot walk with God and there be no evidence of it!

VI. NOAH HAD A FAMILY 6:10
     A. He trained them - they were not "couch potatoes!" You will be what your parents... train you to be! Your children will be what you train them to be!
     B. He led them to Jesus!
     C. He earned their trust - "OK Dad, we believe God did tell you to build an ark, and we're going to help you!"

VII. GOD SPOKE TO NOAH 6:13
     A. God and Noah were very close.
     B. Noah trusted God and was trustworthy for God.

VIII. HE BUILT THE ARK 6:14
     A. Build now a place for you and your family in the future - a place of refuge when troubles come - YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S COMING!!!!
     B. The storms are coming!
     C. Survival depends on what you do now!
     D. You must do your part!

IX. NOAH HAD A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD 6:18
     A. His family was blessed because of their relationship.
     B. All creation was blessed because of their relationship - 6:19

X. NOAH OBEYED GOD WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING
     A. He obeyed when it was hard to obey - when your parents tell you to break up with a girl friend...
     B. You are planting seeds now that will be crops in your life and your family's lives later!
